    Necro/Monk was the better option for Minion Masters. The aoe heals are great for healing your group of minions, and being able to res over and over is great as well.
Necro/Mes was great for curses/hexes. Necro soul reaping added with the energy management skills of a Mesmer make using high energy big damage spells easy.
Necro/anything else.....will usually be a special gimmick that you'll have to research a bit.

    Later in the game E/Mo is almost purely elementalist just using the monk's resurrection skills since they're reusable unlike the resurrection signet.

    Also, later in the game mesmers get a skill "Echo". When you cast echo (the first one you get is actually called Arcane Echo) it waits until you cast another skill, once you do echo is replaced with that skill. So if you cast echo, and then Meteor Shower, echo will become Meteor shower for like 30 seconds or so.....so you can stack two meteor showers on a target.

    For elements, monk and Mesmer are good. For monk secondary’s, you use mostly elements spells with some monk ones mixed in to heal (can do some damage as well). Mesmer secondary’s use about half and half elementist and Mesmer skills to do a lot of damage, maybe some health degen as well.
