The king is not as haughty as he seems
Living in a recent sea of competition, Blizzard has taken a look at the newest entrant - BioWare - and has come out with a favorable opinion of them and their project.
"They have as good a chance as anybody. I wouldn't bet against them, that's for sure," Sams said.
"They are an excellent company and they're utilizing a well-known franchise as the backbone for that game. I think the combination of those two things bodes well for them, just because not everybody can say [that]," he added.
You may recall that Blizzard said similar things about Warhammer Online back in the day. And it seems to be that Blizzard's prediction is proving accurate. Warhammer Online hasn't fallen into the post commence spiral that Age of Conan had to deal with, and is holding it's own even against the release of Wrath of the Lich King.
For BioWare's sake, here's hoping that Blizzard's prophetic-ness continues.
