Blizzard has announced a new "P1mp My Mount"
Feature for World of Warcraft, all in the April Fool's Day spirit of course.
In something that has become an annual tradition for Blizzard, the announcement of this 'new feature' was made this morning, detailing modifications that can be added to players' mounts.
Players simply visit Zazzber's Local Fix-'Er-Up, pay a small fee, leave their mount with the flamboyantly dressed NPC overnight and in the morning they can collect their mount complete with all the chosen additions:
"The process of pimping your tired old mount is quite simple. Drop by Zazzber's local Fix-'Er-Up (available in Orgrimmar, Ironforge, and Dalaran with a very special PvP-oriented shop over in the phrigid lands of Wintergrasp) and talk to our resident mount pimp, Zazzber or his high-tech redneck assistant Janie Sue and, for a small fee, they'll overhaul your hauler, tricking your tired old vehicle out into something worthy of the Achievement "Pimp My Mount." "
On closer inspection, players can pay for 400% turbo, Neon lights, tinted windows, huge spoiler and many other modifications. In the example given, seen below, the "small fee" comes to over 27k Gold - as any WoW player knows, that's not what most people would call small!
